Recruiting:

  1. Brainstorm friends, colleagues, community members, and community organizations that might want to get involved
  2. Reach out! Consider using or adapting these text and email templates.
  3. Consider tracking your outreach efforts.

Onboarding:

Consider the following steps as a rough guide to onboarding new members into your learning community:

  1. Link new members to our Getting Started with MMN page. Have them complete steps 1-5.
  2. Send all new members an onboarding email to set a time for your first meeting.
  3. Once you find a convenient time to meet, send a kick-off email to the group.
  4. Now you’re ready to meet! Head over to our Meeting with your Learning Community page for further resources.
