Ashley Stelfox

Ashley Stelfox is an associate in the Washington, DC office. She works closely with Jim Baller and other partners on community broadband, public-private partnership, universal service, regulatory compliance, and other matters. She is also legal counsel to the Coalition for Local Internet Choice (CLIC). Ms. Stelfox is the co-author of “Economic Development: The Killer App for Local Fiber Networks,” Broadband Communities Magazine (Nov-Dec 2014), and is a frequent speaker on the relationship between economic development and broadband. She is also the primary author of Baller Herbst’s widely read daily newsletter.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Stelfox was a Legal Fellow in the United States Department of Homeland Security. She is graduate of the American University Washington College of Law, where she was a member of American University Law Review and Moot Court Honors Society. She is admitted to the bar in the State of Maryland.
